About the Role
An opportunity is currently available at our Leinster mine for a Soils Testing Laboratory Technician to work on a Family friendly Roster reporting to the Chief Chemist, within the Production Processing team.
Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. About you
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- 2 years’ experience with Soils testing in a laboratory environment
- Has sound experience in field and laboratory construction materials testing to Australia standard 1289
- Holds a current NDM radiation license and is competent in its operation
- Minimum ‘C’ class Driver’s Licence required
- Motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong orientation to safe work practices – high safety focus
