Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system in a customer environment. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity. Your work will in part build our customer legacy.
In this role, you would:
- Have E2E technical understanding across mobile networks including 3G, 4G and 5G – with emphasis on the following functions: HSS-FE, HLR-FE, CUDB, EDA/Provisioning and other related UDC functions
- Plan, design and complete the implementation of software deployments and upgrades within a customer network across both physical and virtual network functions
- Apply product configuration, integration and migration work across various network functions
- Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD / LLD) and develop and implement a Method of Procedure (MOP) for numerous network functions
- Prepare test object lists (TOL) and test instructions and perform acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot of nodes, network functions and/or systems to help isolate and rectify complex faults in the network
- Develop automation, scripting & coding in a Linux environment
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to drive upgrades, new implementations and delivery improvements
- Provide ongoing technical support / consultancy to our customer (post project activities)
- Share knowledge and mentor junior members of the team
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in Telecommunication/IT and at least 3-5 years’ experience of deploy system test and lead test activities (mentoring, coaching)
- Solid understanding and hands on experience in UDC functions(HSS-FE, HLR-FE, CUDB, EDA/Provisioning, etc…), IP Networking and Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Network Functions Virtualization and NFV infrastructure
- Good communication skills and pro-active attitude to deliver results & meet customer’s expectations
- Analytical learning and researching skills; proficient planning and organizing skills to ensure achievements are met
