We are inviting Expressions of Interest for skilled and enthusiastic Train Drivers for our Rail Operations across Australia. As an experienced Train Driver you will play a key role by:
- Operating locomotives and providing operational support across multiple operations.
- Performing yard and shunting duties in accordance with our train schedules, relevant standards and work instructions.
There are various working models and rosters available to suit your lifestyle. Relocation may be considered for certain locations and roles.
About You

As the successful candidate, you will live in Australia, have unrestricted working rights and possess the following:
- Being a committed team player and working in partnership with our other Rail departments to ensure Rail Operations is safely aligned to our wider business
- An unrelenting commitment to the BHP Charter Values and code of conduct, our overriding principles on how we treat each other
- Alignment with the BHP pledge to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the highest standards of work
- Experience in the operation of Locomotive hauled trains
- Knowledge of principles and concepts related to train handling
- Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent is essential
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
