We currently have an exciting opportunity for Senior Distribution Standards Engineer at our Perth Head Office for a 12-Month Max Term Contract.
About this role
As the Senior Distribution Standards Engineer you will be accountable for the introduction of leading-edge technology and development of new distribution design and construction standards through providing technical subject matter expert guidance, field support, and expertise.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Eligibility for corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
- 10 years of electrical utility industry experience in design, construction, operation and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical distribution networks.
- In depth knowledge of distribution network equipment/plant componentry, general assembly and installation practices.
- In depth knowledge of the Australian/International Standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practice applicable to the design and construction of the electrical distribution network.
- Safety in design.
- Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills with technical audiences including those based in the field.
