What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring quality of the software delivered have met all defined requirements, functional and non-functional. You will be the advocate for quality in a variety of testing projects and initiatives to ensure quality of all software delivered, effectiveness of testing processes, including the compliance to business standards and requirements.
You will be hands on, offering your expertise on the development of test cases across a multitude of projects and automated test scrips - to validate functions and features perform as required, this also includes regression impact management.
You’ll also:
- Manage the test environment and data provisioning required.
- Drive testing efficiency and quality practices in software development via reuse, automation, metrics, processes, maintenance etc.
- Execute planned test cases and manage defect resolution and retest.
- Providing testing status update, report on test coverage and maintainability of the test suites.
- Proactively identify risks and or issues and mitigations where appropriate, most notably those that impacts quality delivery.
Good things you’ll need
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Test Analyst who has worked within a fast-paced and complex retail environment, is a seasoned problem-solver, and a catalyst for ongoing improvement. You have proven commercial experience working across automation testing using a variety of different automation tools and services.
You’ll also need
- Commercial experience in automation testing working across a large-scale organisation.
- Proficient and proven experience using HP ALM, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, SQL.
- Experience with testing automation is essential - Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, UFT.
- Salesforce /Oracle retail experience is desirable.
- Strong communicator – charismatic and clear communicator who can engage with a variety of stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent planning, organising, and problem-solving skills.
