You will be working in the Service Management and Monitoring Technologies team who are a centrally organised software services team responsible for managing CBA's Monitoring and Logging environment, providing enterprise Monitoring and Logging services to the rest of the Bank.

Overall, you will be required to:

• Develop, test, deploy, support, and document infrastructure as code & systems configuration changes via Configuration Management tooling and CICD Pipelines.
• Develop, test, deploy, support, and document new monitoring & logging configurations via Configuration Management tooling and CICD Pipelines.
• Script and Playbook development according to program specifications and as directed.
• Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of solution builds and releases to development, test and production environments
• Troubleshooting of BAU activities: incidents, problems, environment, and deployment issues.
• Implement system updates into production in accordance with specific production readiness and change management protocol

We're interested in hearing from people who are essentially have:

• Experience in managing, deploying, supporting, documenting and promoting systems configurations via Configuration Management to Production and or CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience in managing, supporting, deploying, documenting and promoting monitoring & logging solutions to Production via Configuration Management or CI/CD Pipelines
• Knowledge of Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud
• Python Scripting experience.
• Hands-on and in-depth understanding of cloud native services and cloud-based architecture. e.g. AWS, Azure, VMWare or similar
• Programming/software development (PROG) experience.
• Infrastructure as Code technology such as: Azure Arm, AWS Cloud Formation, and Ansible
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and RedHat
• Knowledge of ITIL
