Enterprise Services (Technology & Operations) is responsible for world-leading application of technology and operations across every single aspect of CommBank - from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business.

Your team is currently part of the organisations Enterprise Technology Delivery Tribe and will be working along-side various Engineers, Business Analysts and Testers.
In this team you will contribute to the direction and thought leadership with your expertise in DevOps , Atlassian products, Atlassian Cloud offerings and other cloud domains.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development
- Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements
- Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team
- Work within in a team environment, provide assistance in the management and leadership of your team, and complete associated tasks
- Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production
- Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues.
- Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments
We're interested in hearing from people who are essentially have:
- Hands-on experience working with JIRA and/or Confluence as an Administrator.
- Hands on experience on administrating Jira and Confluence on a SaaS or cloud instance at an enterprise level.
- Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence migration to SaaS model.
- Proficient with creating JQL queries, reporting and dashboards.
- Proficient with creating complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, and permission schemes
- Experience with creating release run sheets and technical documentation to ensure proper execution of work, such as Production releases
- Demonstrated experience in promoting best practice of Confluence across the user community, by creating guidelines on organizing data / documents efficiently
- Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and monitoring metrics
- Hands-on experience with Python or similar scripting language, and experience scripting with REST API
- Scripting background (C#, Python, Go, Ansible, Shell)
Desirable Skill Set
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux OS (RHEL).
- Minimum 3+ years of scripting experience
- Integration of Jira/Confluence with other DevOps tools
- Hands on knowledge in Build pipeline and complete DevOps tools
- Database SQL query experience
- Writing custom Confluence user macros experience
- Experience with plugins and add-ons for Jira/Confluence:
- JIRA Service Desk experience
