A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
This role works closely with the participation and programs team to execute the delivery of participation programs and competitions. A key component of the role will be using technology to roster, communicate and deploy our large and regionally diverse team across multiple programs and events.

This is a full time maximum term role until the end of 2022.

A TYPICAL WEEK

• Manage program booking enquiries for school programs ie. sporting schools, school football competitions etc
  
• Recruit, roster, appoint, train and monitor performance of casual staff members
  
• Contact for regional/local staff on key information such as program start dates, program promotion etc
  
• Key operational contact for network ie. After-school Auskick centres, schools etc.
  
• School and staff equipment ordering
  
• Program invoicing and feedback
  
• Input census data and reporting
  
• Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role
  
• Support and contribute to the success of the broader team – including potential support of other States deployment once the new rostering platform has been implemented

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Demonstrated high attention to detail
  
• Be comfortable using technology
  
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with high level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  
• Operational and administrative management experience
  
• Due to the nature of the sporting industry must be willing to work outside normal business hours from time to time such as evenings and weekends
  
• Experience leading and instructing team members preferred
