A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
This role works closely with the participation and programs team to execute the delivery of participation programs and competitions. A key component of the role will be using technology to roster, communicate and deploy our large and regionally diverse team across multiple programs and events.
This is a full time maximum term role until the end of 2022.
A TYPICAL WEEK
- Manage program booking enquiries for school programs ie. sporting schools, school football competitions etc
- Recruit, roster, appoint, train and monitor performance of casual staff members
- Contact for regional/local staff on key information such as program start dates, program promotion etc
- Key operational contact for network ie. After-school Auskick centres, schools etc.
- School and staff equipment ordering
- Program invoicing and feedback
- Input census data and reporting
- Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role
- Support and contribute to the success of the broader team – including potential support of other States deployment once the new rostering platform has been implemented
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Be comfortable using technology
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with high level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Operational and administrative management experience
- Due to the nature of the sporting industry must be willing to work outside normal business hours from time to time such as evenings and weekends
- Experience leading and instructing team members preferred
