The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Designer to join our E-House Business. Responsible for the modelling of E-House buildings and electrical equipment. This role is a true technical partner to our customers.
Reporting to our Senior Engineers, partnering with other engineers and various stakeholders, you will become part of a passionate and experienced team that provides outstanding service and support to our clients. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Providing substation design and drafting support to the Design team according to customer specifications, standards and requirements, by preparing E-House 3D modeling, general arrangement drawings.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in a timely manner.
- Managing design equipment and site interfaces using 3D models is a key requirement of this position
- Support multiple project and tendering as required

- Degree/Diploma qualification in CAD Designing / Engineering
- Competency in 3D Modelling using CREO/Inventor ACAD 2D, 3D, REVIT design experience, mechanical designing of products such as switchgear, building architectural modeling and structural design and drafting experience
- E-house internal arrangement design with escape route requirements, Large transportable E-House design experience with understanding of equipment positioning is not essential but advantageous
- In depth understanding of interfaces with other disciplines and problem-solving skills are needed
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary (electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural) team environment is an advantage
