Coal Operator (Draglines) – Capcoal Surface Operations (Middlemount, QLD)
Capcoal Surface Operations has an opportunity for a Coal Operator to join the Dragline Production team. Reporting to the Dragline Supervisor you will be responsible for the safe, professional and diligent approach and operation of our 8050 and 8750 Draglines.
Applicants will possess appropriate mining operating experience including dragline, dozer, grader and cable reeler skills. You will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with an open mind and willingness to try new ways of operating. To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
You will possess at least three (3) years’ experience operating draglines and be a proficient dozer operator. You will be required to provide proof of your operating experience.
You will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with being a team player in safely achieving targets. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge in dragline set up, operations and dig patterns to achieve machine optimization and improve performance.
This role will be working on a 7 day roster arrangement. In return for your commitment, we offer very competitive salary and training and career development opportunities. Subsidised camp accommodation is available with this role.
