As a result of internal promotion, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Leader drive our TA effort in the Pacific region as part of the zone HR leadership team. We believe in flexible and digital working, so the role can be based out of Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane with a smart balance between home and office working. You would report to the VP of TA (based in Singapore) and manage an awesome group of 6 talented people. Your scope will include all hiring as well as university relations and employer branding.
Your main role is to drive best practice hiring that strikes the balance between innovation and just doing the basics really well, whilst closely aligning TA efforts to the business strategy and needs. We have ambitious people goals and TA has a reputation for attracting great quality, diverse and digital talent. This is about partnership with all stakeholders, including a strong business and HR leadership teams.
Not only will you be part of the Pacific zone HR team, you will be part of a global TA family at Schneider Electric of over 150 specialists. There is always someone to learn from and share with. You will value your close peer group of other TA leaders from other regions.
The ideal candidate;
- In depth recruiting and talent acquisition experience gained through HR, TA or executive search
- Experience of successfully leading dispersed teams
- Evidence of managing internal and external stakeholders up to executive level, e.g. candidates, HRBPs, hiring managers, BU leaders and external agencies and ability to offer high value consultancy and support
- Demonstrated experience of leading and influencing TA strategy as part of a regional leadership team
- Experience of working across technology, engineering, IT, digital markets
- Experience of using and implementing best in class TA tools (ATS, CRM, sourcing, assessment, interviewing)
- Fluent English speaker
