The Role
Lead the tone and grammatical execution of all written content - including Fresh Magazine, Fresh Ideas Kitchen (digital), Social and digital content
Key requirements of the role
- Ensure consistency of tone and copy for Fresh Ideas Magazine, Fresh Ideas Kitchen (digital) and all social and digital content
- Lead best in class grammatical execution of content
- Lead tone of voice for all Woolworths branded content, with a deep understanding of the brand framework and personality cues
- Have reasonable understanding of the legal requirements of representation of claims within content and consult, where necessary, the WW legal team
- Have reasonable understanding of viable nutrition claims to be made within content and engage the appropriate nutrition representative to ensure content complies with Woolworths standards
- Work with brand expression to understand brand-appropriate tone and expression throughout our owned assets
- Support the definition within the content playbook and opportunities to flex brand-approved language for specific platforms - e.g Instagram
About you
- 5+ years experience in a sub or chief sub role leading the editing of customer-facing assets
- Ability to articulate the written identity of the brand to relevant stakeholders
- Ability to understand the strategic direction of the business and incorporate ambitions into the design identity
- Proficient in InDesign or a similar application with an ability to trouble-shoot any program-related problems
- Ability to work under agile deadlines to meet social deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to overall content ideation
- Ability to manage a sub editor and support learning and growth
