If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have opportunities for a FIFO Plumber to join our Building Maintenance teams, working a 14 days on, 7 days off roster working at our Origin Oil and Gas Sites in the Surat Basin.
About the Job:
Our Plumbers are expected to work on their own and at times as part of team to perform preventative and reactive maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is operational. Your key duties will be repairs, maintenance, installations and management of property across our all facilities on sites including work in residential, commercial and industrial areas. It is also a requirement to perform pre-start up checks on equipment, maintain the maintenance register, ensure inventory levels are maintained and order supplies as required.
About You:
With previous experience in building maintenance across the domestic and commercial sectors you will be a team player, have a can-do attitude, are flexible and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. Ability to hold Plumbing QLD Nominee license for the area. To be successful, you’ll need:
- Current and unrestricted Plumbing & Draining Occupational Licence
- Current and unrestricted QBCC Plumbing & Draining Contractors Licence or a QBCC Nominee supervisor licence
- Valid open Driver Licence
- Experience in completing facilities/ building maintenance and inspections to an agreed schedules
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent attention detail and the be able to provide professional customer service ensuring exceptional presentation to client/customer satisfaction
- Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
- Previous remote site experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Previous experience working and supporting a larger team of trades is preferred but not essential
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
