Solution Architect

Corporate Systems & Fintec Enterprise Architect Team is recruiting for a seasoned and experienced Solution Architect that can work with varied Technology teams to shape and design solutions.
About the role
The Architecture team is responsible for delivering a world solutions for Coles Group. The team strive to deliver evolutionary architecture, technical innovation and data driven decisioning in service of Coles Group’s corporate strategy. They are a creative and forward-thinking group focused on building the next generation of Digital grocery retailer.
Our environment is a complex mix of various technologies and applications that service Coles across the store network and all operations. The Solution Architect will have stakeholder engagement across delivery teams, GM of/Head of Domains, Domain/Application Architects, Tech Leads and Delivery Managers.
You will be expected to provide thought leadership from the business to technology and then architect complex solutions and engage a mix of applications delivery partners, SME’s, various delivery teams to delivery technology across depth as well as breadth.
A Solution Architect at Coles works across multiple platforms through both traditional and modern methodologies and engages via a non-hierarchical approach. You will help to consult and shape the solutions and technology architecture for our customers and team members.
Good things you'll need
- Someone who is self-sufficient once up to speed with the domain and system architecture
- Worked in a large enterprise environment with large number of team members with extensive experience in an enterprise technology environment
- Experience architecting and designing mission-critical, large-scale solutions demonstrating how you approached and solved business problems from engagement through to design.
- Proven experiencing developing Digital solutions including custom application, public websites and private portals.
- Hands-on / project delivery experience with SAP S4 HANA and SAP SuccessFactors as a solution architect
- Capable of leading the development of solutions on the SAP platform taking responsibility for end-to-end design
- Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of:
- SAP HR and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module
- SAP S4 HANA
- SAP SCPI
- Best-practice architecture frameworks
- Project and program-level work products that focus on conceptual and logical architectures
- Modern integration methods
- Can communicate, influence, collaborate and lead teams and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
- Can demonstrate how you have contributed back to an architecture practice or the broader architecture community
