An opportunity to lead and manage Rolling Stock Asset Management compliance and continuous improvement processes, ensuring compliance to Asset Register, Schedule 10 of MR4 contract, and ISO audit requirements. Ver a 12 month max term contract.
This role is offered on 12 month Max term at Melbourne’s MTM head office - Applications Close 5th June 2022

Key Responsibilities
- Compliance to all Asset Management requirements for MR4 yearly DoT submission compliance; Works Plan (ARSWP), Asset Register, Improvement Report
- Lead compliance in conjunction with external and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and Manage for Asset Management & Asset Register
- Asset Management support to Rolling Stock for Asset Management Excellence (AMEx) to reach target by 2024
- Facilitate Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis updates with Safety, Fleet Engineering, RS Office of Chief Engineer (OCE), RS Projects, Heavy Maintenance & Contracts and other relevant Stakeholders.
- Work closely with Safety, Quality, Environment (SQE) and Stores staff to manage supplier faults.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications to allow the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management - frontline management and contractor coordination.
- TTSA - Train Track Safety Awareness Level 1 – Willingness to obtain
- First Aid Level 2 – Willingness to obtain
Skills and Experience
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Ability to work unsupervised on both day and night shifts
- Work with other business functions (both internal and external) to provide an integrated service
- Experience of working in a production blue collar workforce and able to integrate and communicate with all levels of an operation
- Ability to work with time based constraints, daily delivery challenges to meet service requirements
