About the Role:
Ventia Pty Defence sector have several opportunities for cleaners to provide a high standard of service to Army Barracks, Military bases, and general Defence sites. 
The successful candidates will be a part of a dynamic team that promotes and supports inclusion, diversity, and career progression. These opportunities provide flexibility by giving you the freedom to choose the hours that suit you!

The opportunity: Permanent role at Karrakatta Defence Base, Monday to Friday, 18 hours per week (Flexible to choose these hours between 9am and 6pm)
Pay Rate: $27.14 per hour + Superannuation

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Spot cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces
  

• Cleaning toilet facilities, car park and walkways
  

• Rubbish removal
  

• Re-arranging and re-organising furniture
  

• Routinely maintaining indoor greenery
  

• Cleaning glass - both internal and external
  
  Skills and Experience:
  

• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination certificate
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
  

• Australian Citizen (in order to obtain defence security clearance).
  

• Able to obtain Police Check.
  

• Reliable, punctual and well presented. 
  

• Driver's Licence and own transport to get to and from site.
