Reflecting that commitment, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Production, to join our operations team at Cadia Valley based in Orange.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will lead production and related activities, safely and consistently achieving target outputs in a responsible, sustainable and cost-effective manner aligned with Newcrest and Cadia strategies including management of the fleet maintenance teams, and the safe provision of civil services to the underground production areas at Cadia Valley Operations.

The person we are looking for will have strong established experience in a similar technical and leadership role within mining, metals extraction/processing or maintenance. You will be tertiary qualified with innovative technical skills, knowledge and experience in a discipline directly related to one or more of the role functions. Demonstrated experience managing successful operations within Australia and a strong understanding of Safety Leadership and associated legislative requirements will be essential to the success of this role, including having (or being able to obtain) an NSW Mining Engineering Manager – Underground Mines other than coal mines practicing certificate.
