This role is offered on a 24 month max term contract with a salary range between $94,000 - $115,000 TFR. MTM works towards a work-life-balance with hybrid office and work from home opportunities available. The role will be based out out of Metro’s head office in Docklands

Key Responsibilities
Represent Metro's interest and support the (Senior) Project Manager by providing project management expertise, in accordance with MTM’s Franchise Agreement and relevant aspects of the Project Management Framework applicable to feasibility and development project stages:
- Perform regular project reporting, including project status, risks / issues, forecasting and invoicing for projects
- Develop operational, technical and maintenance requirements in line with systems engineering principles
- Provide input into defining applicable deliverables in accordance with Metro’s Project Development Framework (PDF) and Project Management Framework (PMF) during the initiating stage of the project
- Respond to the project objectives set to support MTM strategies, business plans and customer expectations
- Apply project management knowledge and skill, tools and methodologies to manage the development phase and establish plans, requirements and impacts for delivery and operating stages.
- Present findings of projects at relevant steering committees and review panels
- Identify and resolve process and operational issues with relevant stakeholders to ensure project delivery and integration can be accomplished to agreed performance characteristics.
- Support operational interfaces between a broad range of MTM stakeholders, the client and other third-party stakeholder(s) to ensure that the co-ordination of information is maintained as per the Project Development Plan
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or equivalent
- 2 + years’ experience in Engineering, Rail, Project Management or Construction
- 2+ years’ experience with stakeholder engagement across multi - disciplinary organisations
