Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the marketing strategy, manage and influence executive level relationships, drive delivery the marketing program and track success.
Work you’ll do
Alliances Marketing Managers have a breadth of responsibilities which are prioritised within the Alliance Leadership marketing team. These activities include:
Relationship Management
Establish, manage, and support a meeting cadence to foster strong relationships between Deloitte and your Alliance. Work with Deloitte and Alliance partners leaders to understand key criteria and KPIs for the Alliance and keep management apprised of the health of the relationship. Keep our Alliance counterparts apprised of everything we are doing to drive incremental sales & enhance the relationship. Key responsibilities include:
- Build relationships and a regular cadence with Marketing peers at your Alliance to keep Deloitte the top-of-mind partner for go to market campaigns
- Drive go-to-market eminence through events, sponsorships, campaigns thought leadership and social media channels
- Support the thinking and ecosystem execution for all go-to-market opportunities
- Align closely with global Marketing Alliance managers and identify opportunities to leverage global campaigns with a local viewpoint
- Leverage internal Deloitte teams and functions,
- Lead all end-to-end planning and execute all Alliance lead marketing activations
- Manage a library of our key propositions with agreed focus areas, including key credentials and client stories
- Support Alliance demand generation programs to build and nurture Alliance pipeline creation and track all targets, return metrics and pipeline impact
- Communicate the marketing vision, strategy, and action plan to key internal and Alliance Partner stakeholders
- Understand market trends, and keep an eye on our competition and what we can learn from market
- Ensure that all campaigns / activations adhere to Deloitte’s brand standards across all the communication channels
- Develop and maintain project plans and monitor program budgets, reconciliation responsibility for budget with the support of E&A operations team
This position will report to the Alliances Director and contribute to the successful revenue growth and market share and eminence of the Alliance through development and execution of joint go-to-market plans in Australia and across APAC.
The role is part of the Deloitte Global Alliances marketing team requiring a close working relationship as part of a global virtual team with the marketing Alliance leads based in the US and UK.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree a plus
- 6-8+ years professional experience, ideally in tech industry
- Working knowledge of cloud brands – e.g. AWS, SAP, Google, Salesforce
- Experience articulating value proposition for Alliance solutions
- Experience fostering and driving relationships within the relevant business lines of your Alliance
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies, including senior level executives, consulting resources, technical teams, and sales representatives
- Experience translating technical information into business and sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing
Preferred:
- Understand the competitive landscape
- Alliance management experience or equivalent experience working with vendors
- Experience working in or with System Integrators such as Deloitte
Skills:
- Savvy at navigating complex organisations and connecting the right people within each organisation
- Ability to think strategically, while staying focused on monitoring the progress of action items and bringing them to conclusion within appropriate time frames
- Ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders to develop joint go-to-market sales and solution opportunities
- Excellent team player. Effective at sharing and communicating knowledge and supporting teammates in times of increased workload
- Highly organised and self-sufficient, successful with limited direction, upbeat and enthusiastic
- Strong executive presence, complimented by clear and convincing communication skills to respective client teams through oral, written, and formal presentation mediums
- Strong aptitude and passion for driving operational detail and market impact
- Exceptional communicator and influencer
- high degree of attention to detail
- Familiarity with MDF programs and how to leverage various funding streams.
