About The Role
As the Service Technician, you will be a part of the Site Services Team at Leinster that is responsible for maintaining surface operation site facilities and infrastructure. The team comprises of Trades including Plumbers, Refrigeration Mechanics, Fire Technicians and Carpenter.
This position offers a friendly FIFO roster working days only, 5 on, 2 off, 4 on, 3 off.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with completion of daily checks on potable water and waste water treatment plants
- Assist with maintenance activities on potable water and waste water treatment plants
- Assist Plumbers with borefield inspections and maintenance
- Record Meter readings and take water sample
- Assist the Site Services team as a general trade assistant when required
About Leinster
Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:
- C Class Drivers Licence is essential (HR Drivers Licence is preferred)
- Genuine interest in chemical water treatment and water management
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Water Operations
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, Elevated Work Platform is desirable
- Confined Space and Working Safely at Heights Tickets is desirable
- Attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude
- Reliable and responsible with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture
