The Role
Big W’s ambition is to become a purpose-led digital retailer enabled by a great store network. With big ambitions for ecommerce, this role supports our growth aspirations by extending our range online via curated 3rd party products.
You’ll be supporting our Marketplace team to acquire, onboard and grow our supplier partners. Together with the Marketplace team, you will significantly expand our range online so that we continue to deliver on our ambition
Some other job responsibilities would include
- Support our Marketplace team to acquire and onboard vendors onto Big W Marketplace
- Liaise with vendors
- Share relevant information packs and forms
- Support vendors and Big W X IT team through testing and production go-live
- Support vendors to complete forms for vendor set-up, freight, product/article upload, online set-up
- Coordinate and follow up with vendors to upload product content in a timely manner
- Complete platform (Hybris) set-up/whitelisting to ensure all flags are set-up and correct logistics classes are applied
- Monitor and follow up outstanding orders and fulfillments delays
- Follow up out of stocks and ETAs for more stock to arrive
- Ongoing management of 3rd party products including blacklisting any products no longer available from the vendor
- Advise vendors of upcoming digital events and seek submissions, promotional support and stock
- Prepare and share reconciliation report for all vendors
- Review payment queries received from vendors and work with internal teams including Finance, Commercial and Merch Ops to resolve as appropriate
- Support commercial teams with Marketplace process, quality assurance, content upload, article creation and marketing support
- Contact point for Big W fulfillment and Customer Service team
- Update weekly reporting and digital pack
- Engage with IT to resolve any issues from DSV vendors and Big W X team
About You
- Degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
- +3 years of Operations, Account or Category Management or Digital Merchandising experience.
- Experience at a retail/ecommerce marketplace in particular in onboarding and managing sellers ideal.
