Finding the right workplace takes more than searching job ads or browsing company websites. You want to understand how an organisation supports its people, whether its values align with yours and what it offers to help you thrive at work and in life.

That’s why WORK180 has introduced a range of new features to help you explore and compare what different employers provide. These updates are now live across the platform and are designed to give you more clarity and confidence when choosing where to work next.

A clearer view of employee benefits

Every Australian employer with 100 or more emloyees is listed on WORK180, and their profile includes a benefits table outlining the employee benefits they offer. This is a structured overview of the employee benefits each organisation offers, such as flexible working, paid parental leave, professional development and equal pay initiatives.

We’ve redesigned the layout to be more user-friendly. You can expand or collapse sections based on your interests, whether you want a quick overview or detailed comparisons.

Employee leave is one of the most important benefits when considering a new role. The updated paid time off section now includes more detail to help you understand the support each employer provides.

You can find information on:

  • Additional types of leave that promote work-life balance, such as cultural leave, study leave or birthday leave
  • Paid domestic and family violence leave, and how this is supported
  • Paid parental leave, including eligibility and whether top-up pay is offered for primary carers, secondary carers and adoptive parents

These updates make it easier to compare how employers support flexibility and wellbeing.

 

Insight into the thinking behind each policy

Employers can now share background information about the benefits they offer. This might include what they are most proud of, what they are working on and how their approach reflects their company values.

We’ve also added helpful explanation text to break down more complex or unfamiliar policies, so you can understand how each benefit works.

See how benefits compare and change over time

Each employer profile now includes benchmarking tools to help you assess how their benefits stack up. You can see how they compare with similar-sized companies and with the average across all WORK180 Endorsed Employers.

You can also view how their benefits have improved over time, giving you insight into their ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

You will now find employee benefit information in more places across WORK180, including:
