Introducing the New WORK180 Employer Profile

May 16, 2025

We’re excited to announce an update to the employer profile pages on WORK180! This refresh is designed to help you better showcase your organisation and connect with candidates who align with your values.

What’s new?

Attract the right talent and showcase your organisation’s offering with a cleaner, more intuitive layout on the new employer profile pages.

We’ve made these changes to provide a better foundation for showcasing employer benefits and to align with the simplified Top Employers list we released earlier this year.

Key highlights of the new page include:

  • Integrated Feature Video: You can now feature a single video prominently on your profile. This is a fantastic way to share your story and give candidates a more dynamic look into your workplace. Your followers will receive a direct notification when your video goes live.
  • Spotlight on Key Company Overview: We’ve made it easier for our community to quickly access key information about your organisation—such as your industry, how long you’ve been endorsed by WORK180, and workforce data, including the number of women in your team.
  • Enhanced Sections: We’ve streamlined the structure of your profile to highlight six key areas: About, Benefits, Culture, Stories, Testimonials, and Jobs. These sections help you present a holistic and compelling view of your organisation.
  • Upcoming New Benefits Table: Get ready for this! We’re working on a refreshed benefits table design to make your policies even more accessible. It will highlight offerings clearly, with benchmarking and progress tracking to follow.

Why we made these changes

Our goal is to help you build trust, attract aligned candidates, and stand out in a competitive market. These updates are grounded in insights from the WORK180 community and are designed to support your employer brand more effectively.

  • Enhancing Content Variety: Video content gives you the opportunity to showcase your culture in a personal and powerful way—helping candidates connect with your people and values beyond what text alone can convey.
  • Focus on Culture: We understand that company culture is incredibly important when making career decisions. As our recent research confirmed, women specifically want to understand the company culture. The updated layout and emphasis on sections like ‘Culture’ and ‘Stories’ are designed to help you effectively communicate this vital aspect of your workplace.
  • Building Transparency and Trust: Every change was made with the goal of increasing transparency. By providing dedicated sections for benefits, culture, and testimonials, and by spotlighting key data, we’re making it easy for candidates to assess if your organisation is the right fit. And with benchmarking features on the way, you’ll soon be able to demonstrate progress and commitment even more clearly.

Relevant research that informed our decisions

These updates weren’t just based on guesswork. Our approach is informed by valuable insights, we consistently hear from our WORK180 community about the importance of understanding company culture and seeing tangible evidence of inclusive practices. When asked, the community in a recent survey about what they expect to gain when following an employer: the top result (52%) was getting a better understanding of the company’s work environment (over notifications of new job openings). With other insights summarised:

    • Candidates prioritise seeing evidence of a supportive culture, not just stated policies.

    • Company interactions, testimonials and inclusivity in discussions are crucial.

    • Testimonials are the most important content type for job seekers.

Keep your profile fresh with new content to reach a diverse and active community.
