Three months into his new role, Craig Bradshaw made a bold move. With conviction and clarity, he reshaped his leadership team to be 50% women, marking a historic first for Gold Fields globally. It wasn’t a statement. It was a strategy.

Craig’s journey into mining started over 30 years ago. A mining engineer by trade and a people-first leader by passion, he has spent his career balancing operations with values.

“What I love most is seeing what people can achieve together,” Craig shares.

That belief set the foundation for his transformative leadership approach when he joined Gold Fields’ Australian operations as Senior Vice President in 2024.

Since stepping into the role, Craig has championed systemic changes that put equity and inclusion at the forefront. His immediate restructuring of the Operational Leadership Team not only shifted gender balance, it signalled a deep cultural change.

Programs like the Respectful Workplace initiative and Women in Gold Fields Operations are more than policies. They are personally supported and modelled by Craig himself.
