In this knowledge share session with Pacific National, Paul discusses how building an inspiring culture and aligning teams around a common purpose, is a platform for building a respectful and enjoyable place to work. Cultural transformation can be an enormous task; aligning strategy, structure, behaviours, and everything in between, requires a deliberate and dedicated focus.
Paul shares with us his passion for driving cultural change, for creating a workplace that is both inclusive and diverse, as well as some of his learnings, including how to bring along those who may be reluctant to change.
The session will be a fireside chat with Paul Scurrah and Melanie Withers, Pacific National Head of Communications, followed by Q&A.
Meet the speaker
Paul Scurrah
Managing Director & CEO
Paul was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific National in 2021 and brings over 25 years senior experience in transport, logistics, travel and aviation.
Before joining Pacific National, he was the CEO of Virgin Australia from 2019 and DP World from 2013. Prior to this he held roles as Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer at Aurizon and CEO of Queensland Rail.
Paul currently serves on the Board of the Gold Coast Suns AFL team and is a Non-Executive Director of WHIZZ technologies and RPM Global.
