Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Equitable Workplace Awards 2024 (hereinafter referred to as “Awards”) presented by WORK180 Pty Ltd, ABN: 44 604 198 478, of registered office address: 805/220 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, Australia  (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”). By participating in the Awards, all entrants (hereinafter referred to as “Entrants”) agree to comply with these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully.

1. Eligibility:

  • The Awards are open to all employers, organizations, and enterprises based in Australia (hereinafter referred to as “Participants”) who meet WORK180’s minimum standards for endorsement. 

2. Entry Submission:

  • All Entries must be submitted online through the official Awards website within the specified submission period (see Key Dates).
  • Payment must be made on entry, and Participants must complete their DEI assessment in line with the stated deadline (see Key Dates). 
  • Participants who pay and do not complete their assessment by the assessment deadline (see Key Dates) will be considered an incomplete entry and not considered for the award. 
  • All information provided in the Entries must be accurate and completed.

3. Entry Fees:

  • Payment of an entry fee is required for each Entry.
  • The entry fee will be used to conduct a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) assessment of your workplace.
  • The entry fee structure is as follows:
    • $2,500 (+GST) for workplaces with less than 250 employees
    • $3,500 (+GST) for workplaces with 250 employees or more

 Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will not be provided (unless the evnent is cancelled by the Organiser) and so Participants are strongly advised to ensure they do not miss the final deadline (see Key Dates) for their DEI assessment to be completed. 

4. The Assessment:

  • After entering, Participants will receive access to an online diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) assessment.
  • The assessment is designed to be comprehensive yet simple to complete, consisting of questions related to important drivers of DEI.
  • Participant answers will be used to assess and benchmark their workplace against best practices and other businesses.
  • All assessment answers will be kept strictly confidential and will not be made public.
  • Participants can complete the assessment within one to two hours or at their team’s chosen pace by starting, pausing, and resuming.

5. Key Dates:

  • Award entries close: 4th December 2023
  • Assessment completion deadline: 18th December 2023
  • Winners will be identified and notified in January 2024. (A result notifications and offer of constructive feedback will be offered to all other participants)
  • Awards will be presented at our International Women’s Day Summit on 8th March 2024.

    6. Confidentiality:

    • The Organizer agrees to keep the answers to the DEI assessment private and confidential. 

    7. Intellectual Property:

    • By submitting an Entry, winning Participants grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the content for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Awards.

    8. Disqualification:

    • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that does not comply with these Terms or is deemed inappropriate or offensive.

    9. Publicity:

    • Participants agree to participate in promotional activities related to the Awards, including but not limited to interviews, photographs, and press releases.

    10. Limitation of Liability:

    • The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participation in the Awards.

    11. Modification and Termination:

    • The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Awards at its sole discretion without prior notice.

    12. Governing Law:

    • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria Australia.

    By participating in the Equitable Workplace Awards 2024, Participants agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Organiser’s decisions regarding the Awards are final and binding. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time and will post the revised Terms on the Awards website. Participants are encouraged to review the Terms periodically for updates.
