Purpose of the Role

As a Flagship Store Manager at Aesop Sydney, you will be collaborating with your team and Assistant Store Manager's in Australia’s largest Aesop store and high-profile location.

Situated in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Aesop Sydney is a bustling space that will host an array of locals, international friends, and Aesop enthusiasts where they can escape the buzz of the CBD in a beautiful sound-proof space and, immerse their senses in our only Sensorium in ANZ.

As a Flagship Store Manager, you will be exercising the duties of a Senior Store Manager due to the nature of this business. This will include managing all aspects of retail operations, leading and developing a team of x25 with x6 direct reports and x2 Assistant Managers, driving sales and, commercial planning and thinking to support the growth of the business.

What we are looking for

• Management experience within customer, retail or hospitality service environment

• Proven track record of effective selling skills and ability to drive commercial outcomes in a retail or hospitality environment

• History of successfully leading and coaching a team, creating an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment

• Demonstrated ability to utilise empathy to manage interpersonal relationships

• Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives

• Strong communication, problem-solving, commercial acumen and merchandising skills
