Role Purpose

Aesop are seeking an influential and collaborative PMO Specialist (Programmes & Integration) to join for 12-months operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.

In this role, you will provide PMO support to Aesop’s technology integration with L’Oréal working across all workstreams and projects, as needed.

You will support the Programme and Integration Leads, assisting with governance, planning, prioritization, change control, reporting, stakeholder engagement, risk, issue, and knowledge management activities.

Some things you may find yourself doing

  • Assist with the coordination of Technology activities throughout the M&A lifecycle, focusing on post-merger integration and long-term Technology transformation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless Technology integration within scope and budget.
  • Track and report on programme and project status, assisting with risk, issue, and change request management.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Technology integration strategy, including supporting the development of guiding principles, protocols, procedures, documentation, standards, and KPIs.
  • Provide support to Technology project teams, applying project/program management principles and assisting with project execution where required.
  • Contribute to the development and communication of program and project plans and business cases.
  • Support development and maintenance of overall integration plan tracking interdependencies and escalating conflicts where needed.
  • Prepare routine reports and documentation as required.
  • Provide support to steerco’s as required including development of steerco packs and documentation and follow up of minutes
  • Production of project status / update packs as required.

What we are looking for

  • Previous PMO working experience and familiar with both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Previous delivery experience in a global environment, ideally but not limited to retail.
  • Previous experience in M&A Technology integrations, preferably sell side.
  • Experience in business analysis processes and expert of tools like SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
  • Someone that can work within complex, global, cross function environments with tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Articulate and confident with engagement; strong ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships.
  • Subject matter expertise in technology transformation and change.
  • Customer focused approach to technology management.
  • Strong communication (verbal and non-verbal) influencing and negotiation skills.
