A Snapshot

As the Maintenance & Change Manager (MCM) reporting to our Central Operations Director, you will work closely with our Operations team, making an impact in a number of ways:

  • ensuring the efficient coordination of maintenance activities
  • optimizing resource allocation
  • enhancing asset performance through meticulous planning and systematic change management processes.

Your Day to Day

The MCM is responsible for the day to day leadership of the site teams with respect to maintenance activities:

  • Centralised Maintenance Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans that align with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Centralised Change Management: Implement structured change management processes to minimise disruptions and ensure seamless transitions during maintenance activities.
  • Efficiency of Resource Management: Optimise the allocation of resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Asset Performance Enhancement: Analyse asset performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Systemization of Scheduling: Design and implement scheduling systems that streamline maintenance activities and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Asset Data Management and Analysis: Oversee the collection, organisation, and analysis of asset data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of maintenance management experience in data centres (preferred), facilities, engineering operations, trades or related fields
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, change management, or a related field within a critical environment, industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant asset management qualifications from the Asset Management Council Australia (AMCA), Up Time Institute (UTI), or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Fiix, Maximo, SAP, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Hold or are capable of holding NV1 Security Clearance (Australian sites only)
  • Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills in English
  • Exceptionally flexible, forward-thinking and motivated by change
  • Effective customer management skills and meeting chair experience
