About the role:

Reporting to the Future Fuels Construction Manager, this role will support and primarily undertake project administration duties for the Future Fuels Construction team and will also be a shared resource to support tasks in risk management, accounts and management administrative duties for the daily execution of the project.

Key responsibilities;

  • Support the construction team through all formal stage gates in compliance with the Project.
  • Provide general project administrative support services; meetings, diary schedule, travel
  • Support the construction organisation of events both internal and external of Ampol
  • Organise and coordinate visits to the construction site
  • Assisting with claims and gaining background information
  • Support document control, ensuring all construction documents are up to date in the system

About you:

You have a strong administrative generalist background and have demonstrated good organisational skills and experience. Your diverse communication skills will help you thrive in building stakeholder relationships and engagement not only within the construction team but also across the project management team.

Your ‘can do’ attitude, strong work ethic and high attention to detail will thrive you in this role along with your proven experience using SAP and MS Office suite.

Skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration or equivalent career experience
  • Previous experience in using ERP systems such as SAP
  • Experience in Oil & Gas/ refining or manufacturing operations is desirable
  • Experience in client side construction project management is highly desirable
  • MS Office suite of applications
  • Experience in document control and working with formal documents
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organisation skills
  • High attention to detail
