About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Control System Engineer seeking the next challenge and opportunity. The position will be responsible for managing and coordinator the SCADA & DCS Control systems which requires designing, building, maintenance and responsible for negotiating maintenance service agreements and initiate continuous improvement of operation technology systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the design and build of SCADA & DCS Systems
- Manage maintenance activities across the full spectrum of SCADA & DCS systems
- Accountable in taking ownership of negotiating maintenance contracts, liaising with external specialist, support provider, software & hardware vendors and communication service providers
- Apply cybersecure methodology to systems development
- Maintain currently of IT/Operation technology trends relevant to Ampol Distribution and identify opportunities of continuous improvement.
About you:
You have proven experience in a similar role preferable within oil and gas engineering experience within Terminals and Distribution. Being solutions focused with strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a continuous improvement mindset will help you thrive in this role along with a high level of work ethic.
Key skills and experience:
- Relevant qualification in Engineering (Process Control/Technology)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Engineering is preferred
- Process control experience with SCADA, DCS and network systems
- Operational Technology experience with business systems interface
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards for process control
