We now have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Analyst to join our Electricity Transmission team either in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management and Governance, you will contribute to the development opportunities within the Electricity Transmission Business unit. The role will support execution of transactions and competitive tenders and develop APA’s transmission network service capability to ensure the safe and reliable operation of potential APA Electricity Transmission assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of group policies / procedures / platforms to support the establishment of a full capability transmission network business

  • Research and analyse technologies, processes, systems and ways of doing things to support the development of innovative bid-winning tenders and a future focussed business capability

  • Support development of ISO 55001 asset management processes, risk frameworks and modelling to optimise full asset life cycle efficiency and investment

  • Conducting due diligence on development / investment opportunities, including working with external advisers

  • Identification, detailed assessment and monitoring of key transaction risks / opportunities and mitigation strategies

  • Responsibility for preparation / co-ordination of transaction documentation and Steering / Investment Committee papers and presentations

Your background

  • Demonstrated experience in working with effective operational policies / procedures / frameworks, including continuous improvement initiatives

  • Experience of ISO 55001 asset management frameworks and/or network operations in the electricity industry is preferred

  • Experience of working within strong and effective governance processes desired

  • Experience participating in competitive procurement processes is valuable

  • Demonstrated experience working across functional workstreams

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey information clearly concisely and effectively to audiences
