Maintenance Officer
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Officer you will play a key role in ensuring our Integration Centre facilities based in Greystanes run smoothly. You’ll manage and coordinate a robust maintenance schedule for all our equipment, machinery, tools and building.
Your mission: keep everything operating efficiently without disrupting our business operations.
Some key responsibilities include:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain maintenance standards and procedures for all equipment, specifying scope of work, frequency, and responsibility.
Act as the main point of contact for all maintenance contractors, conducting inductions, and reviewing compliance certificates.
Keep electrical equipment and ancillaries up to date as per Australian work safety regulations.
Address outages and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
Ensure all lighting and safety exit signs are operational throughout the complex.
Review service manuals and maintenance records to determine the optimal frequency of preventive maintenance.
Ensure the availability of spare parts and supplies for scheduled maintenance.
Maintain service manuals, maintenance records, and calibration certificates, and prepare detailed reports.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar maintenance and facilities coordination role is essential
Experience in manufacturing and warehousing environments is advantageous
Experience in general engineering maintenance procedures highly desired
Knowledge of setting up maintenance processes and systems
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments at all levels
Hands-on, proactive technical problem solver
Proficient in using hand and power tools or mechanical assembly capability is a plus
