As the GM Group Planning & Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of global financial reporting, including financial plans, forecasts, analysis, and month-end close processes for both internal and external reporting. Collaborating with finance leaders across the globe, your role will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting cycles to enable sound management decisions.

This position also plays a crucial role as a transformation leader, driving continuous improvement across finance functions, enhancing efficiency, and creating capacity for value-added activities.

What You'll Do

  • Global Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse, geographically dispersed finance team, fostering personal and professional growth while ensuring strong business partnerships.

  • Reporting Ownership: Manage the annual group finance reporting calendar, ensuring alignment with Board and CEO review dates and effective communication with global finance teams.

  • Consolidation & Analysis: Oversee the consolidation of Group results for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and Operating Metrics across multiple reporting cycles. Provide insightful analysis for the Board and Executive Leadership Team, effectively articulating key business messages.

  • Corporate Finance Partnering: Support key executives in managing and understanding corporate/centralised costs across all reporting cycles, advising on new initiatives and managing financial risks and opportunities.

  • Finance Transformation: Actively participate in finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements, automation, system rollouts, and data-driven enhancements.

  • Investment Support: Facilitate and support investment decision-making processes by ensuring robust analysis, business assumption reviews, and calendar management for major projects.

  • M&A Integration: Lead the seamless integration of acquisitions and divestments into reporting processes, building sustainable and automated solutions aligned with internal and external requirements.

  • Leadership: Serve as a key member of the Group Finance Leadership Team, contributing to Aristocrat’s broader finance culture vision and transformation journey.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications & Experience: CA/CPA preferred with 15+ years in a large corporate finance environment, including 8+ years in leadership roles.

  • Global Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing multi-regional consolidations within a global organisation.

  • Influence & Communication: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

  • Business Partnering: A curious mindset with a passion for understanding and growing relationships across the business.

  • Strategic Thinker: A critical thinker who challenges the status quo and drives continuous improvement.

  • Collaborative Leadership: A respectful, culturally aware team player who thrives in a collaborative global environment.

  • Flexibility: Comfortable working Australia hours with the ability to collaborate across global time zones and travel as needed.

We work flexibly here at Aristocrat and have a hybrid work model. This role will be based out of our head office in North Ryde with free onsite parking provided, you will have the flexibility to work in the office and from home.
