The Sr. Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing position will be responsible for global-based sourcing efforts around the established portfolio and New Product Introduction (NPI). This role will utilize your skills working on cutting-edge on Mechanicals and Electronics from the category perspective. The position requires advanced skills in data analysis and data management for effective problem-solving. You will utilize GSS NPI policies, procedures, and tools to maintain cost, and schedule initiatives related to each project and portfolio spend. You will work side by side with the Engineering and Sourcing teams to achieve objectives relating to cost, operations, quality, resiliency in the supply chain, and compliance with ethical sourcing practices. You will also work closely with program teams to report status, risks, and deliverables to the larger group.

The GSS team is looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager with an extensive background in Mechanicals and Electronics. The right candidate will be one who is constantly driving themselves and the team towards completing the next challenge and has a strong desire for process adherence and improvement. You will be part of a dynamic and engaging team responsible for continuing to influence the maturity of the Direct Sourcing function including, but not limited to, driving organizational change and adoption, creating team infrastructure and documentation, and creating the most efficient and effective Direct Sourcing projects around the Aristocrat NPI culture.

What You'll Do

  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to articulate a process, its inputs, and outputs.

  • Ability to manage challenging suppliers with unique problems.

  • Ability to manage up and down the supply chain.

  • Strong experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines related to Engineering and NPI.

  • Experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution within the supply chain.

  • Proven experience in sourcing, commodity management, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing within a mechanical and/or electronic company.

  • Experience in commercial sourcing environment - engineering, and manufacturing operations experience a plus.

  • Technical background related to hardware development.

  • Prioritization and timing considerations for key deliverables.

  • Advanced skills in data analysis and data management for effective problem-solving.

  • Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with people and project management skills.

  • An individual who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic culture.

  • An ability to work independently with sometimes high levels of ambiguity.

  • Travel up to 20%.

  • Minimum 60% work form office, remote no more than 40%.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience within Engineering, NPI, or Sourcing related to hardware, preferably in mechanical and electronic fields.

  • Demonstrated experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain functions. Experience in strategic sourcing, product commodity management, manufacturing supply chain, and logistics.

  • Skilled in data analysis and data management to solve problems effectively.

  • Four-year degree in engineering or business-related discipline. MBA (or similar) is a plus.

  • Supplier development and supplier quality experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively, define problems, and identify solutions to resolve them quickly in a global business setting
