To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Operations Readiness Lead (Fixed Term) to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to the Operations Readiness and Improvement Manager , the purpose of the role is to ensure that Arrow Energy’s projects and assets are well-prepared for successful operations. This role is focused on bridging the gap between the completion of a project and the start of full-scale operations.
This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with ample notice provided.
In addition, you will:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Developing and executing comprehensive plans for CSG projects to ensure a smooth transition into full operational status. Align project milestones and objectives with operational goals.
- Oversee the successful handover of projects from planning to operational phases, ensuring proper documentation, training, and resources are in place.
- Actively identify and evaluate risks associated with project handovers and operational readiness. Create and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Responsible for the effective allocation and coordination of resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to support operational readiness and project handovers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and efficiencies. Utilise lessons learned from previous projects to optimise future operational readiness procedures.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, science, or related), or equivalent experience.
- Experience in production operations with at least 5 years at management level.
- Demonstrated experience in formulating and executing strategies that tangibly improve operational handover from projects, along with a track record of fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in staying abreast of industry-specific regulations and implementing robust compliance and reporting mechanisms. A strong background in risk assessment and promoting a safety-first organisational culture.
- Demonstrable experience in successfully completing projects within time and budget constraints, as well as a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for workflow optimisation. Experience in budget and resource allocation for operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with utilising data analysis tools to monitor asset health and improve operational performance, along with a history of implementing data-driven decision-making processes.
- A strong track record in mentoring a high-performing team of operations professionals, with experience in providing technical training and fostering an environment for personal and professional growth.
