To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Health & Safety Field Advisor to join our team.

The Role: This Dalby based role reports to the Manager Safety and Health, and supports the Health and Safety (HS) team and field personnel, including managers, supervisors, front line workers and contractors to implement and improve Arrow Energy’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System (HSEMS) and Arrow’s Assist & Assure program.

In addition, you will:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Assist Manager Safety & Health to implement Arrow’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and guidelines and Assist & Assure program, across relevant business units.
  • Develop and distribute Health & Safety data, and work with HSE Systems to interpret data and establish a robust reporting framework for safety reporting.
  • Conduct regular and random Safety assurance of the Company’s operations; and facilitate incident and root cause investigations as required.
  • Implement the Arrow driver safety program in-Field, including: reporting and monitoring driver safety information; facilitating driving safety related investigations; undertaking driving related risk assessments; maintaining the Arrow driving safety risk framework; and conduct specific vehicle safety/driver behaviour assurance as required/planned.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Graduate degree in relevant discipline.
  • Equivalent relevant and in-depth resources industry experience
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety (H&S) legislative requirements and best practice
  • Previous experience in Assist & Assure programs and/or HSE advisory roles within the resources industry or equivalent
  • Current C class driving licence
