About the Opportunity

ASC Receptionist and Security Administrator is a critical, fast paced role supporting and managing the front desk area of our Osborne base. Including both visitor management and the efficient professional coordination of incoming phone calls. You will also be the main point of contact for Security Guards.

In addition, you will assist the security department with all administrational tasks, such as confirming security clearances for visits that are conducting classified discussions (where appropriate) you will be required to learn the complexities of Foreign National visits under Defence Security Approved Visits process.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet incoming Corporate and Production Visitors
  • Liaise with all areas of the business external parties and Commonwealth of Australia in regard to visit on boarding processes
  • Answer, coordinate and if required transfer all incoming phone calls to the dedicated area
  • Oversee the security guards and ensure ASC is well represented
  • Administration duties include: raising purchase requisitions, processing invoices, SINE system management plus various other administration tasks including maintaining appropriate level of office supplies
  • Liaise and support the security department in Security administrational tasks and pass printing, this includes completing JIRA tasks to support the business with Security Administration including assistance in the management of ASC Security Clearances

Skills & Experiences

  • Ability to multitask and deal with high volume of visitors
  • Deal with people from all backgrounds and levels, outstanding communications and organization skills
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft office, predominantly around excel and word
  • Experience in JIRA or ability to learn
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasking and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of self-identifying work tasks

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
