Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.

Our Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Mine is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar.

The Federation deposit hosts high-grade zinc, lead, and gold mineralisation and is located in 15 kilometres south of the central-west township of Nymagee. – this is a new mine site opening not to be missed!

The Role

At Aurelia Metals we understand that behind every successful project and operation is a well organised system of documentation. We’re looking for a meticulous and dedicated Document Controller to join our team and ensure that our information management processes run smoothly, right here at Peak Mine in Cobar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integrity of the Document Management System by auditing content, ensuring that all documents meet specified standards, formats, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and facilitate document workflows, ensuring that documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with software developers and vendors to ensure the Document Management System implementation meets the needs of the business and is fit for purpose.
  • Offer training and support to team members on proper documentation procedures and standards, promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Manage document metadata, retention schedules, and archiving systems, ensuring compliance with legal and industry-specific requirements and maintaining a clear record of document control activities.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in an office administration capacity, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with MS SharePoint, enabling you to manage documentation and workflows effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to observe and understand business processes, ensuring they are documented accurately and completely.
  • A meticulous eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of document control.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast paced environment, managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Capacity to operate independently, taking initiative and handling numerous tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Training or experience in quality and audit processes will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in the construction or mining industry will be an advantage
