About the role

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • A willingness and ability to train other team members to enhance the multi-skilled work environment, including maintaining work instructions and training materials
  • Adapting to ever-changing customer work volumes, by means of effective communication, problem solving and reprioritising with the team to ensure customer targets are achieved
  • Assisting all teams across Customer Relations & Services in the event of high activity or increased work volumes
  • Building & maintaining strong stakeholder management skills with our internal and external stakeholders via a range of communication tools
  • Supporting the Manager, Customer Connections to drive a customer centric culture across AusNet Services
  • Working collaboratively with other customer Relations & Service teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive change throughout the platform and customer experience putting customer at the forefront of all that we do

About you

You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Proven customer services and engagement skills
  • A strong understanding of all regulatory requirements associated with each energy stream (Electricity, Solar & Gas) and the ability to be able to proactively manage workloads and communicating any risks to achieving our regulatory outcomes
  • A growth & learning mentality to develop the required skillsets and capabilities to operate in a multi-skilled operational environment whilst maintaining a Connections focus
  • Skilled at prioritising and contributing in team meetings and working with other Customer Relations & Service teams to be an advocate of our continuous improvement work environments across customer experience and performance enhancements

You are self-motivated, a natural problem solver, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a customer first approach.
