About the Role

As a Project Manager for the Barwon Water Group, you will be a key contributor to partnering with all aspects of the business with the objective to achieve our Strategy 2030. As part of our business led ICT transformation, we are looking for an experienced project manager to support multiple ICT projects throughout the full project life cycle.

Operating within the High Performance Transformation Team, you will facilitate delivery of various sized projects and technical advice across our business. Emphasis will be on cost effective, timely, safe and strategic delivery of projects, encapsulating the project delivery process from ideation, procurement, design, development and approval, right through to implementation and close out.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will effectively engage the relevant stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver business excellence.

About You

As an experienced technology project manager, you will be focussed on delivering business benefit through the successful implementation of projects. You’ll be customer orientated and have a commercial mindset teamed with good communication skills. You will be an innovative and creative problem solver, someone who can work independent and adapt to change. You’ll bring excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate true leadership qualities.

With a bachelor degree or higher in ICT or business, you’ll have significant work experience delivering projects designed to bring lasting change. As a project manager, you have worked across most relevant sectors, including utilities, infrastructure or water services and can apply your sound knowledge of project management to our complex infrastructure environment.

If you can apply creativity, lateral thinking, and persistence, and can demonstrate our organisational values, come and explore your potential with Barwon Water.
