About The Role

The Customer Operations Team & Optimisation Lead is an exciting new role within the Customer Centre at Barwon Water. The role will put you at the forefront of innovation and will be crucial to the success of the Customer Centre and the broader organisation, as we transform the way we operate and service our community.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the strategic and day to day operations of a multi-function team. With a focus on coaching, mentoring and upskilling, you’ll use your influence and change leadership expertise to guide and support the team as we transition to our new operating model.

Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead, you’ll be the conduit ensuring optimisation initiatives are brought to life and operationalised within your team. Success in this role will drive a culture of excellence, leading to better outcomes and satisfaction levels for customers and an improved employee experience.

About You

As an established leader in service delivery, you have a keen interest in business enhancement and process improvement. While your passion for uplifting team performance and coaching individuals to be their best is unmistakable.

Your excellent communication skills make you adept at working with diverse stakeholders. You bring a solution-oriented approach and a growth mindset to the business, enhancing your team’s capabilities and inspiring them to achieve KPIs.

Your tertiary qualification in business or a related field with demonstrated proficiency in leadership and change management methodologies, such as ADKAR, will support your application.
