Barwon Water is going through a significant digital capability and capacity uplift and seeks an Information Management Officer to oversee our physical and digital record keeping program. You will be the key point of contact as the business undertakes an uplift of the records management strategy, promoting best practice and building awareness.

You will be responsible for management of digital and physical records, facilitating archiving and disposals, Electronic Content Management (ECM) system administration and supporting Barwon Water staff with Information Management practices in line with legislation and guidelines, such as PROV and VPDSS.

This position focuses on compliance to information governance and having a consistent approach to preserving Barwon Water’s information and records along with providing exceptional customer service, encouraging continuous improvement and ensuring that information management services provided assist the productivity and efficiency of our internal customers.

About you

As the Information Management Officer, your knowledge of relevant legislation and content management systems will be crucial. You will be a strong administrator with excellent communication skills as you engage with stakeholders to influence the business.

Naturally inquisitive you will continue to seek out improvements and identify inefficiencies and trends for the business to adapt. You will have a strong eye for detail as you ensure our compliance in relation to relevant legislation.

You will have a growth mindset and enjoy working autonomously as your motivation will have a positive impact in the development of record management processes. You will be empowered to grow and flourish by the team who will support your development.
