About the role

As Asset Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of asset management strategies across multiple assets types, playing a key role in managing and optimising the lifecycle of infrastructure assets across Barwon Water.

This is a key leadership role where you will utilise expertise in engineering principles with stakeholder skills to engage effectively and build a culture of asset management continuous improvement. You will adopt best practice methodologies on activities such as asset management maturity uplift and asset lifecycle improvement initiatives providing timely reporting to senior leaders

Creating impact across the business, you will build maturity of our program, achieve improvements through cross-functional teams, develop asset risk and investment optimisation frameworks.

About You

An intuitive and strategic thinker you are capable of operating independently and with a high degree of autonomy. You will enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders, possess a strong working knowledge of governance, compliance and risks for Strategic Asset Management and comfortable adapting to change.

An excellent planner, you will succeed given the autonomy to challenge the status quo that will lead to identifying improvements that bring value to our customers. Thriving in an environment with diverse stakeholders, your ability to communicate technical information will be highly regarded, as you bring influence across Barwon Water.

Your qualifications in engineering will be put to the test but you will work in a close knit and multi-disciplined team, who will support your continuing development and seek to empower your decision making.
