In this senior role, you’ll lead the identification, development and delivery of transformational circular economy initiatives that leverage Barwon Water’s services to enable regional prosperity, reduce emissions, reduce waste and deliver commercial outcomes. Including regional scale, innovative initiatives in the organic waste recycling, renewable energy, hydrogen and agribusiness areas.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you’re a highly regarded leader with demonstrated commercial and business experience, and understand the value of a constructive partnerships, effectively leading and learning from external partners to build internal capability and help realise Barwon Water Group’s primary strategy.
About you
You’re an engaging and innovative thinker who is able to not only identify new opportunities but are able to turn them into realisable outcomes through understanding regional and business needs, technical concepts, and developing business cases for investments in emerging markets. You’re exceptional at thought leadership in rapidly developing areas, building trusted networks and strategic partnerships.
With excellent business, resource management, and financial skills, you demonstrate strong political acumen and governance, with an understanding of how to align business and community needs with environmental, sustainability and financial goals. An outstanding communicator with exceptional stakeholder management strengths, you build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation to drive outcomes and improvements.
An experienced leader of multidisciplinary teams, you’re adept at influencing colleagues and collaborators and passionate to deliver real change and benefit to the organisation and region.
