About the role

The Airport Approvals Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, processing and issuing consents for airport development applications in relation to all BAC and non BAC projects and any other assigned projects; ensuring protection of Airport infrastructure and compliance with the BAC Master Plan, planning objectives and all applicable legislation, regulations and policy requirements.

This role will also audit and advise upon Principal contractor submissions in relation to BAC’s approval process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions are made to the Airport Approvals Team

About you

This role requires you to have a good working understanding of building construction, building codes, standards and legislation, as well as consultant technical documentation as they relate to projects. You will enjoy providing your expertise to support teams who are delivering infrastructure projects. Developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, will be integral to success in this role.

With formal qualifications in Project Management, Town Planning, Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management your experience will include:

• Managing building and/or civil and/or services designs.
• Working with building and design codes.
• Working with government agencies.
• Design certification practices.
• Disability compliance and legislation, preferred
