About the Role

Become part of our dynamic organisation as we embark on a transformative journey toward multi-cloud services over the next three years. As a leader in this role, you'll manage a highly skilled team of Network and Facilities specialists responsible for maintaining complex systems across a diverse range of technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a team of Network and Facilities Specialists, ensuring the uptime of a complex network.
• Contributing to network architecture enhancements and design requirements.
• Driving continuous improvements in systems, processes, procedures, and policies.
• Extensive contractual and vendor management.
• Elevating team performance through upskilling and coaching.
• Collaborating with Cenitex stakeholders and the broader Victorian Government to shape the future of Network Services with a focus on a multi-cloud approach.

Let's Talk About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Significant experience managing technical teams in a fast-paced, complex technical environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, focusing on WAN / LAN environments, SDWAN, Cloud Networking, IP technologies, WiFi, with a strong security first mindset.
• Development of Engineering standards and operational practices for the core network infrastructure & services.
• A deep understanding of modern networking with the ability to stay updated on emerging technologies.
• A proven track record of working with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
