What You'll Do

You will be leading and executing against sales and go-to-market (GTM) goals for all of APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan & Greater China) in the Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO). GSSO is the GTM organization accountable and responsible for driving all security sales within Cisco. This is an incredibly exciting role in one of the fastest growing areas of Cisco’s overall portfolio and one that is critical to Cisco’s company transformation into software, subscription and recurring offerings.

In this role you will,
* Regional Cyber Security Strategy: Be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing key initiatives that align with Cisco Security’s Global security strategy, but which is fine tuned to the needs of the local APJC markets. You will build out and drive execution priorities aligned to this strategy for the region
* Strategically drive Cisco's end-to-end security vision for our customers: You will inspire our customers to the future of security based on our global strategy, vision and roadmap. You will put this in context of both the customer and the market as well as maintaining an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements
* Evolve and Accelerate the Go-to-Market Sales Model: Cisco is on a transformative journey to move from hardware and perpetual business and consumption models to software, subscription revenues and SaaS. You will be responsible to driving the transformation for Security within the APJC region and therefore it is important that you have experience of driving multiple and highly varied consumption and business models within an overall GTM
* Achieve Financial Performance Expectations: Exceeding your bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical) is critical as is having an in-depth knowledge into your numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models). You will be responsible for managing your OPEX goal and maintaining strong forecast accuracy.

Who you are

You will bring:
* 10 - 15 years senior management experience, should possess both sales leadership and cross functional/general management experience
* 10+ years in management roles selling solutions to senior executives at large accounts, APJC Sales Leadership Experience Preferred
* 10+ years in high caliber security organization in a sales environment
* Demonstrated track record managing significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals
* Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
* Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
* Strong executive presence, polish, and political savvy
* Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization for 100+ people
* Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.
