THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Unit Maintenance Supervisor, Your role is to support and assist to Mechanical Trades personnel to maintain Common Plant assets.

Your key activities include:

  • Safely assist with preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
  • Servicing & lubrication activities.
  • Monitoring/Installing decant materials and reporting.
  • Mobile machinery operation e.g. light vehicle, MR truck and Vehicle loading crane, forklift, crane etc
  • Actively participate in basic investigations, risk assessments and the development of asset/equipment plans.
  • Work constructively as directed
  • Short-term shifts and overhaul maintenance by agreement.
  • You will be asked to participate in an Availability Roster.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at Callide Power Station.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will:

Essential:

  • Elevated working platform, Forklift, Riggers and Doggers (Nationally Accredited High Risk Licence)
  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proactive

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in the power industry preferred
  • Previous exposure to working within SAP preferred
  • Mobile Crane (Nationally Accredited High Risk Licence)
  • Confined Space preferred but not essential
