THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Commercial Associate, you will support to the Future Energy Development team, as well as the broader Customer and Growth Division as required.

This role will require you to:

  • Analyse complex commercial, legal, and technical issues to negotiate and deliver high-value contracts.
  • Coordinate resources and proactively manage risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maximise value from existing contracts through effective relationship management for both short- and long-term success.
  • Assist in developing business cases aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Gather and interpret information to make commercially sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Support procurement activities by preparing essential documents like Procurement Plans and Evaluation Plans.
  • Manage engagements with CS Energy’s panel providers and government panels as needed.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in a relevant field such as economics, business, commerce, law, or engineering.
  • Commercially astute with strong strategic, analytical and financial skills
  • Proven experience managing partnerships to deliver benefits in a competitive, dynamic market.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting ideas, influencing, and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in negotiating and managing contracts to achieve successful outcomes over time.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to identify and adapt to new opportunities.
